Eech, I don't think they're quite in focus again... That aside, though, the greens are lovely (:

I do shoot freehand (no tripod) .. so quite a few of my photos are not in perfect focus. If you like perfect focus, you might want to check out other deviants works?

Just a suggestion :)

Oh... I'm really sorry if I came across as overly critical. I didn't mean to be. I don't know anything technical about macro photography; I'd just assumed that focussing was fairly simple, but if it's my ignorance that's the problem, then that's my fault and I apologise.

Focusing is fairly simple as you say, if you're using a tripod and automatic focus. I usually disable auto focus, as I find that I can get closer to my subject matter with manual settings.

Hence, the bluriness in my photos. I'm simply suggesting that if you like crystal clear photography, you probably won't find it in my gallery, unless it's by happy accident.

No need to apologize, but starting off a comment with "eech" just struck me wrong.

There's every need to apologise: in retrospect, "eech" was not a polite way to start a comment. Evidently I didn't think before I typed. At least now I know enough about how you take photographs to appreciate how difficult it is to focus (presumably something which is made even harder by the size of your subjects?) next time I look at your work.

Oh, I love these !!! Tell me, do they turn white afterwards ?? I am not 100% sure, but they look a lot like ones that can be used dry afterwards, to decorate inside the houses and such...

I have no idea, I only was in the vicinity for a week. This does look like the ones you mention, could be.

I never think about things like that until after the fact. Then I'm like "why didn't I do that?" Still a great picture! :D

thank you ! I photographed this while on vacation in West Virginia - I'm not sure where you're located at. I've never seen this in Florida.

It seemed to be growing up as a weed in the neighbor's yard. I would love to have had more of a chance to play with photographing it :)

thank you :) It looks as if I gave this a green overlay, but I simply uppped the contrast. I would've preferred that the leaves on the plant better fit the crop .. but I'm not that excited about this particular photo to spend much time editing it.
